The ENDRESS+HAUSER switching unit designed for point level detection in liquid tanks and bulk material silos. It is also suitable for liquid detection in pipes for dry running protection for pumps and overfill prevention for tanks with combustible or non-combustible liquids harmful to water. With international explosion protection certificates and overfill prevention WHG, this device ensures safe and reliable operation even in hazardous explosion areas. It offers functional safety up to SIL3 in accordance with IEC 61508 using Liquiphant with electronic insert FEL57. The FTL325P features intrinsically safe signal circuit for connection to Liquiphant or Soliphant, and its ambient temperature range is -20 to +70°C (-4 to +158°F).
