The ENDRESS+HAUSER switching unit specifically designed for point level detection in liquid tanks, even in hazardous explosion areas. It is also suitable for overfill prevention in tanks with both combustible and non-combustible liquids that are harmful to water. With its two-point control and point level detection capabilities, this product is the perfect fit for applications in safety-related systems that require functional safety up to SIL2 in accordance with IEC 61508 / IEC 61511. The switching unit is easy to install, with options for rail mounting or single installation. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to +50°C (-4 to +122°F), and it has international explosion protection certificates and overfill prevention WHG and marine approvals.
