RS PRO 3.5 mm Cable Mount Mono Jack Socket
Create a mini-jack connector by attaching a cable to this RS PRO female socket. It's ready for installation with a clamp to secure your wiring in place. The moulded body and strain relief are made from durable polyethylene (PE) material to protect your cable and terminals from damage.
The contacts are made from nickel-plated brass for a reliable and corrosion-resistant connection. The component comes in a standard black colour to complement a wide range of domestic and commercial devices.
Mono jack sockets are useful for making adaptors and extension leads for headphones and microphones. They're used in communications and entertainment industries as well as offices and schools. This connector has been manufactured and tested to meet American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, so you can be sure it's safe to use.
