Siemens Non-Fused Isolator Switch, 32A, 11.5kW - SENTRON Series - 3LD2203-0TK53

This non-fused isolator switch from Siemens safely powers down a circuit when you want to perform maintenance or repairs. It uses a rotary lever instead of a fuse to cut power to selected parts of your circuit, so you can reset it easily without needing to replace any components. The red handle on the yellow base is bright and easy to spot in emergency situations. This item has an IP65 (ingress protection) rating, indicating it's reliably dust-tight and protected from low-pressure water jets. You'll find switches like this commonly used on industrial circuit boards and at power plants.

• Two options for installation – either screw or DIN rail mounting – to suit your equipment and space

• Accepts three padlocks to prevent unauthorised use

• Operational in temperatures between -25°C and +55°C, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications

What's the difference between an isolator switch and a circuit breaker?

An isolator switch lets you manually shut off electricity for safety or maintenance purposes. A circuit breaker automatically cuts off power when there's a fault, like an overload or short circuit, in the system.
