The Eaton main switch with emergency switching off function is fitted with metal shaft for a control panel, an auxiliary contact, a rotary handle with a locking ring only for use with extension shaft to protect from damage of excess current, overloads and short circuit manually by disconnecting electrical equipment for servicing and maintenance by cutting the power supply to isolated parts of the circuit.
