IDEAL® IDC Insulation Displacement Connectors (jellybeans) are perfect for splicing or repairing low voltage cables in telecommunications, voice, and data applications. They feature an internal moisture-resistant gel sealant to protect the splice in outdoor locations. These 2 position yellow UY butt-splice connectors are suitable for 2 wires. Crimping these connectors is easy using a parallel action tool to ensure even crimps. The IDEAL® Kinetic® Super Wire Stripper/Crimper (33-719) tool is designed for use with all jellybean connectors. Simply insert the unstripped conductors into the ports until they pass the internal bus bar and reach the end of the connector, then, place the connector assembly on the tool's flat pad surface and slowly squeeze until the colored cap snaps down into place over the conductors.
