Hammond 1455 Enclosure with Plastic End Panels

The Hammond 1455 series enclosure has an extruded aluminium body and two easy to machine, black solid ABS end panels with integral bezel. These enclosures are designed to house P.C. boards or for equipment interfacing.

Features and Benefits

• Designed to house P.C. boards or for equipment interfacing

• Sized for standard Eurocards

• PCBs mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body

• Enclosure includes two solid black plastic end panels with integral bezel

• Rugged body constructed from extruded aluminium with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm

• Extruded body includes a slide removable belly plate, except in smaller sizes (A, B, C & D)

• Smaller sizes (A & B) are rounded for better hand held ergonomics

• DIN Rail clips & flange kits are available separately

No, these enclosures cannot be used outdoors as they do not meet any IP rating standard. They have been designed for strictly indoor use.
