RS PRO 13 A, 1 Gang Fused Spur

Manufactured from mild steel, this RS PRO fused connection unit provides a safe outlet that can isolate equipment from a mains power circuit. It has one socket and a durable steel body which allows it to stand up well in industrial and workshop applications.

The fused spur includes a manual switch for turning the connection on and off and can be locked open to ensure isolation from electrical current during maintenance. This provides protection from accidental exposure to electrical current. The unit is supplied with a back box.

Switched fuse spurs are also useful for electrical devices that are only used periodically, as they can completely cut current until it is needed again. The component has ASTA (Association of Short-circuit Testing Authorities) and BS (British Standards) approval for electrical safety and forms part of the RS MetalClad range, where quality manufacturing and competitive pricing unite.
