Sensata Cynergy3 Vertical Paddle Flow Switch, 1A, 20 Bar - LFS Series - LFS-01

Use this paddle flow switch from Sensata Cynergy3 to accurately control the flow of substances in a pipe. The vertically mounted flow sensor's electrical connections convey a trip motion to a pump to adjust flow rates that are too high or too low. The switch's paddle is constructed from high-grade stainless steel, which is highly corrosion-resistant and able to withstand the abrasive effects of harsh chemicals. It's suitable for flow detection in pipes with a bore size of 1in to 3in, such as those found in emergency sprinkler systems.

Features & Benefits

• Aluminium alloy housing to prevent rust and extend the unit's service life

• IP65 (ingress protection) rating means the float's electrical connections are protected from dirt and moisture

• High maximum operating pressure of 20 bar for use in heavy-duty applications

• Supplied with a cable gland for making quick and secure electrical connections

Where do you install a flow switch in a pipe?

You should place this switch where there's a straight run in a pipe on either side of the switch. As it's a vertical sensor, it needs to be installed in a pipe with an upward flow direction.
