Use this compact PLC (programmable logic controller) relay from Phoenix Contact as the interface between automation equipment and system peripherals. It uses the same electromechanical relay module for switching both AC and DC voltage, which saves you space on your DIN rail. The device features a basic terminal block with an M3 screw connection and a plug-in miniature power relay.

DPDT (double pole, double throw) configuration lets you connect two inputs to four outputs. It's easy to monitor the interface relay module's performance using the LED (light-emitting diode) operating voltage display. The unit's freewheeling damping diode protects the circuit from damage through current outages.

The relay base has an IP20 (ingress protection) rating, meaning it's protected from dust and finger-sized objects. The relay is also wash-tight. PLC relays such as this one are often used to control automated processes in assembly lines.
