The FSB series brakes are designed to decelerate or hold inertial loads when the voltage is turned off either intentionally or accidentally during a power failure. They can be mounted on either a bulkhead or a motor. These electromagnetic brakes are designed to have a high torque to size ratio and require little to no maintenance after installation.
