Festo Spindle Axis Actuator, 800mm Stroke Length - EGC-80-800-BS-20P-KF-0H-ML-GK

This electric linear actuator from Festo uses a recirculating ball-bearing guide to handle high loads. It has a long guide with 800mm working stroke for a greater axial torque of 36Nm. This means it can take a maximum horizontal or vertical force of 3050N. It's also precise – thanks to the spindle axis design you can expect repeat accuracy to ±0.02mm. With a quick 1m/s to 1.5m/s maximum speed and 15m/s² acceleration, this device offers reliable all-around performance.

• Flexible motor mounting and assembly position suited to a wide range of system setups

• Made from an anodised wrought-aluminium alloy with a steel spindle and guides for strength

• Wide operating temperature of -10°C to +60°C for use in demanding industrial applications

Applications

• Robotics

• Horticulture and agriculture

• Aerospace and defence

What is an electric linear actuator?

An electric linear actuator is a device that's powered by an electric circuit to turn a rotating motion into a linear one. This type of actuator is an efficient and controlled way to move something backwards and forwards, or up and down.
