You can use it for video editing by connecting your DisplayPort video card to an HDMI-enabled monitor.
This cable supports resolutions up to 4K so it provides very clear images. The plug housings and cable are made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which has good impact resistance and won't break if you accidentally drop or bump the cord.
