The Wurth Elektronik 4 Channel Digital Isolator includes an integrated isolated DC/DC power module. A single external power supply is necessary to power both the primary side channels and the integrated isolated power supply. The integrated power supply generates the required isolated secondary supply voltage. The integrated power module has integrated protection systems that guard against thermal overstress with thermal shutdown and protect against electrical damage using overcurrent, short circuit and undervoltage circuitry.
