Type 111 Geared dc Motors
DC motors are most commonly used in variable speed and torque applications. The range of IP 53 Doga DC motors are powered by direct current from a battery or DC power supply. Worm gears are used when large gear reductions are needed. The worm gear is useful for a comprehensive range of applications, such as conveyor systems, in which the locking feature can act as a brake for the conveyor when the motor is not turning.
