The Mascot switch mode DC/DC converters are safeguarded against reversed polarity and overvoltage, utilizing transorb diodes against transients. They automatically shut off when input voltages exceed or fall below specified ranges and feature a fuse at the input for added protection. Additionally, they offer thermal protection, short circuit proofing, and overvoltage protection on the output side. Furthermore, both input and output are electrically isolated from the chassis, with the input separated from the output, ensuring safety and preventing electrical interference.
