The TRACOPOWER 10 watt direct current to direct current railway converter is designed for highest reliability in harsh environments. It features a wide 4 to 1 input range and enhanced resistance to electromagnetic interference, shock, vibration, and thermal shock. Housed in a single in line package 8 metal casing, the converter achieves high efficiencies up to 89 percent, supporting an operating temperature range from minus 40 to plus 75 degrees Celsius without derating. It is approved under standards EN 50155 and EN 61373 for railway and transportation use. Additional qualifications include compliance with EN 45545-2 for fire behaviour and safety approvals under IEC EN 62368-1 and UL 62368-1. Built-in functions such as input under voltage lockout, short circuit protection, and remote on off capability make it suitable for a wide range of application requirements and simplify the design in process.
