This D-sub connector socket from Phoenix Contact establishes secure and reliable connections between circuit boards, components and devices. You can use it to link and transmit both electrical and data signals, making it a versatile choice. The 9-pole unit has two cable entries and a screw terminal block for each cable, making it suitable for constructing Fieldbus systems with RS-485 interfaces. It accommodates terminal blocks in the lower and upper parts of the housing, giving you flexible options for cable entry.

A high level of electromagnetic capability (EMC) keeps your circuits running optimally while preventing electromagnetic radiation. The metal-plated ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) housing is resistant to impact and heat for use in harsh environments. It also protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI) to ensure clear signal transmission. You can rewire this interface connector for use with Bitbus, CAN (Controller Area Network) bus and PROFIBUS systems for enhanced flexibility.

SUBCON-PLUS 9 position field bus D-sub connectors with two cable entries and a screw terminal block for each cable enabling fieldbus systems to be built with RS-485 interfaces. The terminal blocks can be placed in the upper or lower part of the connector housing allowing cable entry from the left or right. These SUBCON-PLUS field bus RS-485 d-sub connectors have a high transmission speed, a high level of EMC with metallized ABS housings for EMI shielding and accept a cable cross section range of 6 to 10mm2
