3M D-Sub Connector, 500mA Current Rating, 33.4 (L) x 16.7 (W) x 9.1mm (D) - MDR 102 Series - 10220-5212PL

This MDR (mini delta ribbon) from 3M is a D-sub connector that connects equipment to your circuit boards for easy data transfer. Its two parallel rows of 20 ribbon contacts make it practical for use with flat ribbon cables, which save space in internal wiring applications and are easy to terminate. As the unit's shielded, you get reduced EMI for stable data transfers. It safely reduces the risk of shocks, too, thanks to PCT insulation material that gives it a high insulation resistance rating.

• Interface latch makes connections reliably secure

• Rugged die-cast zinc alloy case resists impact and corrosion for durability

• Gold-over-nickel plated copper alloy contacts give you high-quality connections

Applications

• Telecommunications systems

• Heavy-duty computers

• Medical devices

Is this product fire-safe?

The connector’s UL 94V-0 rating means it’s flame-retardant, so it won’t contribute to the spread of flames in the event of a fire.
