The Broyce Control Core Balance Current Transformer (CBCT) or Toroid is designed for use in conjunction with all Broyce “Type A” Earth Leakage Relays that require an external sensing means. It is used to detect leakage current and transmit a proportional signal to an Earth Leakage Relay.
