Mueller Crocodile Clip


The Mueller's crocodile clip is large solid copper battery clip. It is used as a connector. The connection can be made by crimp or solder with up to 1 AWG wire. The jaw opening is maximum 41mm apart. The material used is solid copper. The current rating is given as 400A. The large versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, are made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
