Mueller Crocodile Clip

The Mueller crocodile clip is an innovative, patent pending version of Mueller's popular BU‐21A clip. The handle extensions reduce the force needed to open the clip by over 75%, while still keeping the BU‐21 grip strength. The reduced force allows people to use this clip all day long without fatigue. The material used is zinc plated steel. The current rating is 50A. The BU‐21CEZ clip does not have an insulator available. It acts like a connector. The large versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, are made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
