RS PRO Crocodile Clip, Nickel-Plated Steel Contact, 5A
One of the simplest methods of linking up components and wires in electrical circuits, this steel crocodile clip can be used to create temporary, flexible connections safely.
The clip's spring-loaded jaws open up to 15 mm in width, making it simple to attach to and detach from batteries or components. The opposite end of the clip can accommodate a 4 mm banana plug, enabling easy connection to a range of common electrical devices and equipment. Its steel contacts are resistant to oxidation and other types of corrosion, and their nickel-plating further improves this durability.
This crocodile clip is regularly used in laboratory settings as a way of quickly setting up an experimental circuit, or for testing a piece of equipment. Classroom environments will also make use of the clip, along with batteries and simple electrical devices, for education on basic circuitry.
