The terminal is made from phosphor bronze, making it resistant to wear. The contact areas are plated with tin to improve corrosion resistance.

The Molex Mizu-P25 Sealed Wire-to-Wire range of automotive connectors features a unique seal stopper to provide waterproof protection coupled with a low-insertion force. These Mizu-P25 connectors have friction locks to save space and protect the latch plus polarizing ribs for correct mating on assembly. The Mizu-P25 terminals have a spring-beam design to provide high-pressure with a small-deflection ideal for high-vibration applications. These Mizu-P25 connectors also meet the JIS DO203S2 waterproof compliant standards.
