Alpha Wire, 0.28mm², Screened Modified Polyphenylene Ether Sheath

This control cable is a screened, 4-core conductor designed for industrial control and signalling in automation and electrical systems. It combines tin-plated stranded copper conductors with a halogen-free modified polyphenylene ether jacket in slate colour, providing a compact, recyclable alternative for medium-voltage control runs rated to 600V and elevated temperatures up to 105°C.

Conductors are finely stranded tin-plated copper with 19 strands per core which enhances flexibility for routing and improves long-term contact reliability in dynamic or confined installations.

The cable includes an overall screen that provides a conductive barrier to reduce EMI coupling into multiconductor control circuits, improving signal integrity near motors and drives.

The jacket and insulation are mPPE, a recyclable thermoplastic with low specific gravity that reduces cable mass and exhibits significantly lower outgassing compared with PVC.

The cable holds CSA, CE and UL listings appropriate for typical industrial control applications and meets flame behaviour and material safety expectations for many installations.
