Siemens 3-Pole Contactor, 50A, 24V AC/DC Coil Voltage - 3RT2Series - 3RT2036-1NB30

Choose this three-pole contactor from Siemens for the efficient switching of high-current loads. It has a single-throw, NO (normally open) configuration, and it's also fitted with two auxiliary contacts – one NO and one NC (normally closed) – for use with interlocking circuits or for remote signalling of the main contact switching states. Screw terminals help you make secure electrical connections. The unit is current rated at 50A, voltage rated at 400V AC and power rated at 22kW to offer versatility. This contactor is suitable for applications such as switching motors and transformers.

• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C for use in demanding environments

• DIN rail mounting for quick and simple installation

• +/- 180˚ rotation and +/- 22.5˚ tilt are possible on a vertical mounting surface to give you flexibility of design

What's the difference between a contactor and a relay?

Contactors are generally used for switching high-current applications of more than 15A, whereas relays are used to switch lower-current applications. Relays offer faster switching and take up less space, but contactors are easier to repair.
