Schneider Electric LC1K1201B7 Contactor

The Schneider Electric LC1K1201B7 model is a 3-pole contactor featuring a utilisation category of AC-1 and AC-3 and AC-4. The control circuit voltage is 24 V AC 50/60 Hz with 3 NO power pole contact composition. The rated operation current is 20 A (at <50 °C) at <= 440 V AC AC-1 for power circuit, 12 A at <= 440 V AC AC-3 for power circuit and 16 A (at <70 °C) at 690 V AC AC-1 for power circuit.

Schneider Electric 3 Pole Contactors

These contactors, unlike relays, are specifically designed to connect to high current load devices. Used in larger-scale applications, Schneider Electrics contactors can be controlled remotely, specifically designed to switch a large amount of electrical power through its contacts.

These contractors feature varied switching voltages, many of the range feature screw clamp or a solder termination.

• Highly reliable

• Excellent quality

• Easily installed accessories

What does the utilisation category AC1 and AC3 mean for the TeSys contactors?

Contactor utilisation categories define the current making and breaking values, based on the type of load to be controlled and the operating cycle conditions.

AC-1: This applies to all AC devices with a power factor of at least 0.95. Example of use: resistive load, heating, distribution.

AC-3: This applies to squirrel cage motors where breaking occurs while the motor is running. Example of use: all squirrel cage motors, lifts, escalators, conveyors, bucket elevators, compressors, pumps, mixers, air conditioning units.

What accessories are available?

• Auxiliary contact blocks with serrated wiping action

• Front mount dust tight auxiliary contact blocks

• Pneumatic time delay blocks

• Transient voltage surge suppressors

• Interface modules and electronic timers

• Mechanical latching blocks
