Looking for a reliable device to switch high-power loads in applications such as lighting and factory automation systems? What's an auxiliary contact?


An auxiliary contact is physically linked to the main contacts in a contactor and is activated at the same time. It carries less current than the main contacts and is generally used to switch interlocking circuits or to remotely signal switching or malfunction states.
