Eaton Contactor Relay, 230V Coil, 400V AC Contact - DILER Series - 051759 DILER-40(230V50HZ,240V60HZ)

Prevent damage to your motor with this Eaton contactor relay. This device continuously monitors the current running through the circuit. If the current exceeds its maximum allowance of 10A (amperes), the four normally open contacts switch to closed. This switching breaks the circuit and prevents overloads, overheating and short circuits that could otherwise do lasting damage to your motor. This relay has a finger-proof IP20 (ingress protection) rating, ensuring it's safe to handle without the risk of electric shocks. You'll commonly find it used in automation and control settings.

Features & Benefits

• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +40°C for safe use in challenging industrial environments

• Handles up to 9000 mechanical operations an hour for durable and reliable use

• Front mountable with 10 screw connections for an extra-firm bond

Approximately how long is the mechanical lifespan of this contactor relay?

This contactor relay is designed to have a lifespan of around 10 million mechanical operations, ensuring you get lasting and reliable use. This operation count is subject to environmental conditions and has been calculated for AC (alternating current) applications.

Eaton Contactor Overload Relays - DILE Mini Contactor Relays

Eaton's DILE mini contactor overload relays reflect a long tradition of reliable, code compliant and efficient power distribution in any automation and control environments. These circuit breakers provide premium protection for overheating wires, overloads and short circuits in residential, commercial, industrial and hazardous areas and are ideally suited for use within harsh environments with high temperatures.

The DILE mini auxiliary contactor overload relays have compact dimensions and a modular design for the highest packing densities. Their space-saving size allows these mini contactor relays to be used wherever small motors or loads need to be controlled and switched. With an extended performance range of up to 5.5 kW at 400 V, an output range up to 7A and extensive approvals that mean they are suitable to be used worldwide.

The DILE mini contactor relays are available as AC versions (for control current networks from 24 V to 480 V with 50 Hz or 60 Hz) or DC versions (for control current versions from 12 V to 220 V). The DC operated versions have the suppressor as a diode-resistor combination integrated into the device.

Within the DILER series of contactor overload relays Eaton offers both a spring-loaded terminal and a screw terminal version with interlocked opposing contacts allowing the devices to be expanded to up to 8 auxiliary contacts.

Features and Benefits

• AC drive - for control voltages from 24 V to 600 V, at 50 Hz or 60 Hz

• DC drive - for control voltages from 12 V to 250 V

• UL and CSA approvals

• For controlling motors up to 5.5 kW

• DC-operated devices with integrated suppressor circuits

• Auxiliary NC with mirror contacts for use in safety-related applications

• Low power consumption - can be controlled directly from a PLC
