Eaton Overload Relay, NO/NC, 600V AC Control Voltage - ZE Series - 014565 ZE-6

Keep your motor working safely with this contactor overload relay from Eaton. The bimetallic tripping mechanism has a trip response range from 2 to 10 seconds and will shut down the current to the motor in the event of an extended overload. It's easy to reset once tripped, as it has both manual and automatic reset options to choose from. Compact dimensions of 52 (L) x 65 (H) x 45mm (W) help save space in your system. This relay is suitable for protecting motors with a full load current (FLC) rating of 4 to 6A.

Features & Benefits

• Screw terminals ensure quick and secure connections

• Operating temperature range of -5°C to +55°C for use in demanding industrial environments

• Test and stop functions allow you to monitor performance

How does the bimetallic tripping mechanism work?

The bimetallic strip in a thermal overload relay is constructed from two dissimilar metals that expand at different rates when heated. When an overload current flows through the relay, it generates heat which bends the strip and breaks the circuit.

Eaton Contactor Overload Relay – ZE Series Thermal Overload Relays

This Eaton Contactor Overload Relay is designed to help your motor continue working in a safe environment by monitoring the current in the motor circuit and breaking the circuit when an electrical overload or phase failure is found. It works by cutting off the current to the motor when a high current situation occurs. As the relay receives the corresponding signal, it trips.

This Eaton product is predominantly designed for imitating the heating prototypes that are a staple for keeping your motors healthy, which increases the motor lifetime. It provides an affordable and efficient way for you to protect your motors, whilst giving you peace of mind that you have sufficient motor protection and control.

Eaton’s reliable and high-quality Overload Relay offers motor control within a multitude of environments, coming with a 600 V ac control voltage, 6W power rating and a temperature range of -5 to +55 °C. Eaton offer a wide range of reliable contactor overload relays to protect machinery from overheating, keeping your business and its operations accessible.

Features and Benefits
