It works hand-in-hand with a filter to prevent excess fluids and external contaminants from building up and clogging your pipes. The unit has an automatic mechanism that removes condensation from the collection bowl, so you don't have to do it yourself. The bowl's made of durable polycarbonate construction that won't give in to corrosion and impact, so you're assured it will provide long-term performance. A G1/8 drain fitting connects to a vent valve and relieves potentially damaging surplus pressure.
