RS PRO Black Male N to Female U.FL RF Coaxial Cable, 50 Ω
This radio frequency (RF) cable from RS PRO is designed to connect a U.FL RF connector on a board to an N-type antenna. Because of the difference in sizes between the two connectors, it would be very easy for the weight of the N-type connector and attached cable to damage the smaller socket. For this reason, the N-type connector is a panel-mounting one, allowing it to be fixed in place to the case of the equipment and holding it steady in relation to the board.
This cable is designed for frequencies up to 3 GHz, allowing it to be used for Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless LAN and other relatively low-frequency radio signals. It would typically be used in larger radio devices in order to connect an internal board to an external antenna.
