The E1EX Captive Component Gland is designed for use with steel wire and aluminium armoured cable in hazardous areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere. Equipment protection levels: Ex d IIC Gb, Ex e IIC Gb, Ex nR IIC Gc, Ex tb IIIC Db II 2G, II 2D, II 3G.

This cable gland from Moflash is designed to seal an electrical cable and hold it in place on the electrical equipment. It's intended for use with steel-wire and aluminium-armoured cables in hazardous areas where the atmosphere's potentially explosive. The clamp is factory-fitted with a specially formulated elastomeric seal for built-in safety, while its captive cone and cone ring combine to provide an armour clamp and earth bond, preventing electric shocks. A patented disconnect system lets you inspect the armour clamp and inner seal after assembly, for easy maintenance. This gland accepts cables from 14.5mm to 20.5mm.
