RS PRO Insulated Crimp Bootlace Ferrule, 6 mm Pin Length, 1.7 mm Pin Diameter, 1 mm² Wire Size, Red
This crimp bootlace ferrule from RS PRO is a metal tube with a red insulating collar used to end the connection of a range of different electrical installations. Compress the ferrule over a stranded wire to increase the reliability of your connection.
The nylon collar material is lightweight but has high compressive strength, so it will keep its shape better if subjected to force or the weight of a load. It's designed to be resistant to abrasion, corrosion and any buildups of friction that could cause wear over time, so it will last for longer.
The tin-plated treatment gives the ferrule a smooth, clean surface that will protect the interior copper terminal tube as it connects with your wire for a reliable connection. Use this ferrule with switching cabinets, function units or clamp connectors to protect the connection from interference and damage.
