Spread of bearing puller? It is determined by the width of the part to be pulled.
Reach of bearing puller? It must be at least equal to or larger than the depth of the part that you need to remove.
Force of bearing puller? If you removing rusted parts or where there is a large area of surface contact, a greater force will be required. Consider choosing a puller which force screw diameter is at least half the size of the shaft on the item that you need to remove. Still not sure which puller to choose? Use the next largest simply because undersized bearing puller will slow down the job and nobody has time for that.
