Schaeffler KH Series Ball Bearing, 30mm Inside Diameter, 40mm Outside Diameter - KH30-PP
This ball bearing is a linear ball bearing type designed for reliable performance in various applications. With an inside diameter of 30mm and an outside diameter of 40mm, it features a race width of 50mm. Constructed from high-quality steel and featuring a polyamide cage, this bearing is equipped with sealing on both sides to enhance durability and efficiency.
Features & Benefits
• Sealed ball bearings prevent contamination and prolong lifespan
• High load capacity of 3.3 kN dynamic load rating
• Designed for smooth operation with parallel bore configuration
• Steel construction ensures robust performance under stress
• Single-row design optimises space while maintaining strength
• CN clearance provides suitable fitting and operational efficiency
Applications
• Used for automation systems requiring precise linear movements
• Ideal for electronics in need of effective load handling
• Applied in mechanical systems where durability is crucial
• Utilised in electrical machinery for consistent performance
What material is used in the construction of this bearing?
The bearing is made from steel, ensuring strength and resilience in high-stress environments.
How does sealing on both sides benefit users?
The dual seals protect against dirt and moisture, enhancing the bearing's longevity and functionality.
What load capacity should be considered for optimal performance?
With a dynamic load rating of 3.3 kN, it is suitable for applications demanding high endurance.
In what scenarios would a polyamide cage be advantageous?
A polyamide cage minimises weight while maintaining structural integrity, beneficial in compact designs.
What is the significance of the CN clearance?
The CN clearance provides a balanced fit that accommodates thermal expansion and operational tolerances effectively.
Linear Ball Bearings
INA from Schaeffler linear ball bearings KH and linear ball bearing and housing units of the compact range have a small radial design envelope and are economical. Their low radial section height automatically makes them attractive for applications in which only a small amount of radial space is available.;The bearings have an outer ring with openings and contain a ball and cage assembly with a plastic cage. The outer ring is formed and hardened. The balls undergo return travel along the openings in the outer ring.;The bearings are available in an open version and with lip seals on both sides (suffix PP). The end face seals have two seal lips; the outer lip prevents the ingress of contamination, the inner lip retains the lubricant in the bearing.
Features and Benefits
• Lower operating costs;• Reduced maintenance due to improved lubrication;• Lower heat generation;• Less noise
Product Application Information
Due to the closed design, these linear bearings are suitable for use on shafts.
Suffixes
PP - Lip seals on both sides
