RS PRO 470 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 63 V DC, Through Hole
Use this general-purpose electrolytic capacitor from RS PRO to store energy and create electrostatic fields. This kind of capacitor is generally used to decouple and prevent fluctuations in voltage in filtering devices, as well as to store power in flash lamps.
This is an axial-type capacitor, so the leads are fitted to come out of either end of its cap. It's also designed with a safety vent to release gas, which prevents an explosion if the voltage gets too high.
You can install the unit by running its leads through holes in your printed circuit board (PCB) thanks to its through-hole design. As this type of mounting is a safe and secure way to install a capacitor, the component will hold up under environmental stress. This product complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements, meaning that it contains only minimal levels of any harmful materials.
