Need an electrolytic capacitor for storing power in a flash lamp? This one from RS PRO uses electrolytes to create electrostatic fields and store energy.

The leads on this radial capacitor both come out of the same side. This makes it easy to install as you can simply push the leads through the holes in your printed circuit board (PCB) to mount the unit. It also ensures a safe working environment thanks to the safety vent that protects against explosions if you exceed the maximum voltage.

You'll commonly find this capacitor used for suppressing high-frequency noise in power supply signals and preventing voltage fluctuations in filtering devices. As it meets Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards, it contains only trace amounts of harmful materials.
