What is an air hose?

An air hose is a tube which transports pressurised air to pneumatic actuators, valves, tools and other devices. A robust and reliable air hose is absolutely essential to maintaining a consistent airflow. A wide range of materials can be used to create the tubing such as polyurethane, rubber, PVC and nylon. Selecting the correct material to suit the application and environment is important to ensure a long service life.
