The Power Integrations power Switch IC dramatically simplifies the design and manufacture of isolated fly back power converters in automotive applications. which combines primary and secondary controllers and safety-rated feedback into a single IC allowing accurate output voltage regulation even with wide input voltage range of 30 VDC to >1000 VDC. This device incorporate multiple protection features including line over and under voltage protection, output overvoltage and over-current limiting, and over-temperature shutdown.
