Urethane Liquids & Putties

Urethane liquids are pourable rubber compounds with high, medium or low flexibility. These sealants have a similar viscosity to water when applied and are both abrasion resistant and noise reducing.

What are urethane liquids used for?

Urethane liquids are typically found in the automotive industry. They are used for part encapsulation, rigid moulding and in the lining of process equipment.

Urethane liquids are also used in the construction industry in the protection of equipment surfaces against corrosion and abrasion.

Types of urethane liquids

Different types of urethane liquids are available:

  • Epoxies are used for maintenance and repair of equipment, as they protects against abrasion, corrosion and chemical spillage.
  • Chaulk is a more solid form of urethane and has a putty-like texture which makes it ideal for lining and protection purposes.
  • Traffic sealants are very durable and are used in public places where a lot of foot traffic occurs.
  • Waterproof sealants, which are used primarily to cover and protect wooden decks or exterior concrete surfaces from the elements.
