LD45 Polyethylene Foam

Polyethylene rubber sheets are thermoplastic materials made from a combination of propylene monomers and rubber substrates. These sheets are strong, light weight, flexible and are anti-static with shock absorbing attributes. They also absorb noise making them ideal for gyms, schools and factories.

Their chemical resistance also makes them suitable for chemical plants to protect floors and surfaces. Polyethylene rubber sheets come in a variety of colours, lengths and degrees of thickness.

The LD45 Polyethylene Foam range features:

Cross-linked closed cell polyethylene foam
This material is food quality and resistant to oil and weathering
Density 4.5 g/cm³
Temp. Range -70°C - +110°C
Sheet size 1000 x 2000mm

Applications:

Polyethylene rubber sheets are lightweight, highly durable and tear resistant which makes them suitable for a variety of industries like:

• Packaging and long-term storage facilities
• Transportation (protective materials)
• Chemical plants
• Schools
• Factories

FAQ:

Can these sheets be used outside?
Yes, polyethylene rubber can be used to make parts and equipment that are exposed to outdoor elements.

What is ’closed cell’ type?
Closed cell foams are dense and strong and resemble solids when they fully form. Due to their density they can prevent drafts and mould growth because temperature control can cut down on humidity.
