This passive base provides a connection platform for discrete I/O modules within a Quantum automation environment, enabling straightforward interfacing between field wiring and control electronics. It accepts a DC supply and offers 16 channels with Visual indication for channel status and power, designed for DIN rail or plate mounting in industrial control cabinets.

It operates from a 19 to 30V DC supply range complying with IEC 61131-2 requirements.

How are field conductors terminated?


Termination uses screw‑type terminals supporting solid and flexible conductors from AWG 28 to AWG 12 depending on conductor arrangement.

What mounting options are available?


It mounts to 35mm symmetrical DIN rail via clips or to a solid plate using a supplied fixing kit.

How does the unit behave under short‑circuit conditions?


A 2A fast‑blow 5x20mm fuse on the PLC end provides short‑circuit protection and limits fault current.

What environmental ratings and resistance does it provide?


It meets IP2X protection, withstands 750 °C incandescent wire exposure, and endures shock, vibration and common EMC levels for industrial use.
