Concrete screws are designed and manufactured so that the thread of the screws taps into concrete, block or brick. The threads are hardened without making the body of the screws so brittle that the screws shear off.
The DeWALT blue tapper-pro philips, countersunk concrete screws are the only fastener to meet the 2012 IBC and IRC standards for 4 different base materials.

Incorporates a gimlet drill point for wood base materials meaning no predrilling is required

Tapper-PRO require the use of specific tolerance Tapper- PRO drill bits for proper installation.
