M4000, Type 4, Perimeter and Access Protection


The M4000 2 and 3 beam devices are used for perimeter and access guarding where the hazard is considered high risk, requiring a safety device according to EN954 Category 4. The M4000 is certified according to IEC 61508 SIL3 and EN 61496-1&2. Where protection is required from floor level, 3 beam systems are generally recommended, with the first beam positioned 300mm above the floor.
