3M IDC Connector Socket, 14 Way, 2 Rows - 3000 Series - 3385-6000
Choose this 14-way female IDC (insulation-displacement contact) connector socket from 3M to make ribbon cable connections quickly and easily with no need to strip wires. The polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) housing offers excellent electrical insulation as well as temperature resistance. It gives the socket an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. The right-angled body orientation helps save space when building your system, while the 2.54mm pitch is ideal for industry-standard 1.27mm pitch ribbon cable.

What does 'pitch' mean on a ribbon cable?
When talking about ribbon cables, 'pitch' refers to the distance between the individual wires. To find the pitch of a cable, measure the distance between the two external wires and divide it by the number of wires.
