The MCP39F511N from Microchip is an integrated, dual-channel, single-phase power monitoring device that provides real-time measurement of input power and energy values for AC/DC power supplies. The capabilities of the MCP39F511N are ideal for applications such as dual-socket wall outlets, power strips, AC/DC power supplies, and power distribution.
On-board are three Analogue-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) for voltage and current load measurement, a 16-bit Calculation Engine, EEPROM and a flexible 2-Wire Interface. An integrated low-drift voltage reference combined with the 94.5 dB of SINAD performance on each measurement channel allows for better than 0.5% accurate designs across a 4000:1 dynamic range.
