RS PRO Door and Window Switch, Surface Mounting, 500 mA, 50 V AC/DC
Monitor and protect your doors and windows with this surface-mounting switch from RS PRO. It has a simple construction, with one part designed to be mounted on a frame and the other part mounted on the door or window itself. Upon opening, a signal loop is closed and an alarm will be triggered.
The component comes supplied with a 300 mm cable, which gives you plenty of flexibility for more complex wiring arrangements and allows you to connect it up to a power supply in a larger space. The switch's aluminium housing material gives it a good level of strength, which means it can withstand bumps and scrapes without breaking. It's also resistant to wear and oxidation for a long lifespan. Use this switch for security systems in commercial and residential spaces.
