Adafruit Qualia 9.7" DisplayPort Monitor Kit


The Adafruit Qualia DisplayPort monitor kit enables you to add a secondary display to any computer with a Thunderbolt port or DisplayPort. The 9.7 inch screen is an ultra-high definition 2048 x 1536 pixel retina display, in fact it is the same display as used in the iPad 3 and 4.

An Adafruit custom made driver board handles all the connections and LCD driving complexities, a self-assemble enclosure, DisplayPort cable and 9 V power adapter completes this kit.

This kit is plug and play but takes around 30 minutes to assemble the enclosure, screen and board. No drivers, soldering, configuration or other converters required.

Note

A motherboard DisplayPort is required for this monitor and you cannot plug into an HDMI port.
