The E5810B is the next generation of the E5810A and expands the gateway's capability to include USB connectivity. It is a single connectivity solution which provides a gateway between network-equipped computer systems (using LAN) and GPIB/USB/RS-232 based instruments. This simplifies IO connectivity with a complete, one-box solution designed to meet all users' connectivity needs. The E5810B connects up to 14 GPIB instruments, up to four USB instruments (via a self-powered hub) and an RS-232 instrument. Test and product engineers, system integrators, R&D engineers, researchers and academics gain the capability to control various instrument interfaces over LAN, even remotely by wireless connection. Applications include manufacturing, troubleshooting, design validation and education.
